President Porche is a 13 year veteran with the New Orleans Fire Department. He is currently assigned to Rescue 7 which is one of two heavy rescue units that serves the citizens of New Orleans. Mark takes pride in training and leading others, building them up to become future leaders in the service.

“One of my goals as President is to lead this association in providing more opportunities for minorities, especially women, to not only join the Fire service, but promote through the ranks while developing a strong community presence. I am humbled to serve as President of this association and forever grateful to those who sacrificed and came before me. All that I am, I owe, I live eternally in the red .”
